Manufactured to incorporate our extruded glazing gasket for thermal efficiency, optimising performance and reducing installation times, Alitherm 400 is the first of its kind to be built into a thermally broken aluminium system.

Reducing thermal transmittance

The Construction sector is becoming increasingly conscious of thermal efficiency in relation to their projects and developments. This comes in response to the step change in building regulations, which became fully enforceable in June of this year.

Changes to Part L and F of the document largely dictate the specifications for thermal efficiency, energy efficiency and ventilation capability.

The Alitherm 400 has been manufactured using the highest quality materials and has been specifically engineered to fully comply with the new requirements.

The innovative design features polyamide thermal break technology, which works by creating a strong barrier between the cold air outside and the warm air inside. By reducing thermal transmittance, this serves to enhance the overall U value of the product.

Additionally, the system is rigorously tested to PAS 24:2016 as standard and exceeds the requirements for both weather resistance and security performance.

 

The Alitherm 400 range

Alitherm 400 windows are currently available in two options: the popular Alitherm 400i range is an internally beaded system with dummy sashes which can achieve PAS 24 security standards.

Alternatively, we have the externally glazed Alitherm 400x range, which can be upgraded to PAS 24 security standards with the introduction of glass security clips. Both are completely suitable for residential and commercial applications.

Alitherm 400 doors perfectly complement the window range, offering the same stylish lines and ease of fabrication and installation. The system is available as open-in or open-out, single, or double doors.

All Alitherm products are available in an array of colour options provided by any RAL colour, on top of the four stock colour collections available.

 

Additional Features

Additional features include our innovative quick glaze bead system, for application of internal glazing. Simply tap the bead in on-site with the gasket already in place. No need for wedge gaskets – just a faster, simpler and more cost-effective glazing process.

Alitherm Quick-Glaze Bead is available in white, black and Anthracite Grey.
